When I first visited Owen House Barn to shoot James and Clare’s wedding, I can honestly say that I was speechless. I’ve worked in a lot of venues of different shapes and sizes but this is definitely one of my favourites. The venue is a family run business and the owner has created a stylish, quirky, beautiful place. Its romantic, unusual and unique. There are great spaces for getting ready with your bridal party and also accommodation for an over night stay. The ceremony room is understated but has beautiful lighting that makes it feel intimate. The main reception room is big, bright and can accommodate a large wedding party and lots of dancing.

Owen House Barn is a wedding barn but with lots of quirky twists. Many barn venues are quite minimalist in terms of interiors and whilst Owen House Barn isn’t over the top with its decor, the attention to detail with the features and bits and pieces that are littered around make it really special. There are really lovely and quirky spaces both inside and outside of the venue. Inside, there are piles of hay bales and a beautiful corridor made from old doors. It’s quite something! Outside there is lovely farm land which is ideal for photos and there are additional photo spots on the farm, accessed by the owner and his jeep.

Owen House Barn is for couples who are planning a cool, relaxed, creative wedding day. This venue is incredible and if you are looking for a venue in the Mobberley, Cheshire area then definitely check it out.
