Winter Pendrell Hall Wedding – Laura Rhian Photography

Stephen and Katie planned a beautiful winter Pendrell Hall wedding last November. This venue is the perfect setting for a winter wedding because if the weather isn’t great, there are lots of ideal locations indoors for both group and couple portraits. We, however, were really lucky with the weather and were able to explore the grounds for photographs.

Stephen and Katie are a very sweet couple and from the minute I met them on their engagement shoot, I knew that we would have a lot of fun together. Katie wore a gorgeous 1920’s inspired wedding dress that was slim fitting, with beautiful sleeves and a sparkly headband. The bridesmaids were in black and carried bouquets of lavender.

The ceremony was conducted by Katie’s mum, which made the proceedings even more special. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed drinks, whilst we made the most of the winter sunshine. The guests then sat down to dine, followed by some heart felt and hilarious speeches. One of my favourite things about shooting weddings in the winter is having fun after dark. Stephen and Katie bought a couple a packs of sparklers and we headed out with the bridal party for some fun portraits.

Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your special day guys, it was a lot of fun!
