Wedding At The Faversham, Leeds
In 2023, I shot the best wedding at The Faversham in Leeds. It made my maximalist, colour drenching heart happy. I’m a sucker for dark blue walls, large collections of house plants and some highly patterned wallpaper. It wasnt a venue that i’d been to before and its a a bit of a hidden gem within Leeds city centre but if you’re planning a wedding in that area, I would highly recommend that you check it out.
The light at The Faversham is dreamy. Whether that be the little pockets next to small windows, or the light soaked ceremony space, it photographs really well.
Niall and Yolanda were a real joy to work with. They wanted a relaxed wedding with a really brilliant party and it was so much fun. I loved all of there styling choices and the great thing about having your wedding at The Faversham is that the venue is so full of style already, that you can save money on hiring out decor to make it look cool. One of my favourite parts of the day was when they held a competition during the speeches and the winner got to decide the first dance song. One of Yol’s bridesmaids won and so their first dance happened to the very romantic tons of Gold Digger by Kanye West. A truly excellent moment. Yol also decided to wear a second dress for the party. This is a great idea if you want to get down and dirty on the dance floor because often wedding dresses can’t accommodate twerking.
