New Orleans House Wedding – Al and Zoe

In the run up to the wedding, Al and Zoe talked to me about their plans to have a relaxed wedding with good food and great music and it certainly was that! When I arrived at the house for bridal prep, I was immediately handed a cup of tea and so I knew that it was going to be a great day. Al and Zoe are some of the loveliest, warmest people that I have had the pleasure of working with. Spending the day with them was like spending the day with old friends. They are the sort of couple that, after the wedding was over, I felt sad to say goodbye. Their ceremony took place at the beautiful New Orleans House in London. It’s such a beautiful building and was the perfect setting for their vows. The ceremony was emotional and so full of happiness. They were both beaming the whole way through and it was so lovely to be a part of. Zoe’s wedding dress was slim fitting with the most beautiful low neckline and intricate lace detailing and her groom wore a lovely blue suit. There were no matching outfits at this wedding as the couple had decided to keep everything as relaxed as possible. The reception was held at the Tamesis sailing club in Twickenham. This gave them the outdoor space to put on a huge south african style BBQ. The guests were able to sit and chat in the beautiful sunshine. It was so incredibly relaxed, which is exactly what they had wanted. After Al and Zoe had danced their first dance to an Ed Sheeran number and cut their cake of cheese, a 70s funk band started up and the guests dancing into the small hours.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer who loves shooting for relaxed couples and who might make you laugh so hard that you snort, then I would love to hear from you.
