Dave and Becky’s Newburgh Priory wedding was wonderful, sunshine filled day. Newburgh Priory is a beautiful, exclusive use venue, just outside of York. It has great indoor and outdoor spaces for your ceremony and festivities. If you’re looking for a venue with lots of history, some great outdoor space and a bucket load of charm, then a Newburgh Priory wedding is for you!
Dave and Becky’s ceremony took place inside the beautiful stately. They exchanged I do’s in a room packed full of their loved ones. After the ceremony, we headed out into the sunshine for cocktails, canapés and photographs. There are so many beautiful spots for photos at Newburgh Priory and I was really spoilt for choice. The reception took place in a tipi in the grounds and was decorated with the most beautiful flowers, pompoms, brightly coloured stationary and the most delicious cakes and sandwiches i’ve ever seen. The guests sat to enjoy their afternoon tea, followed by some rather competitive lawn games.
Becky wore a beautiful, slim fitting wedding dress from Phase Eight and the bridesmaids were in lovely, swishy, peach dresses and flower crowns. After dinner, the bridal party and I ventured out into the evening. This is always one of my favourite parts of a wedding – especially when we are treated to the most incredible light.
Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your day guys. It was very special!
