East Riddlesden Hall weddings are set in a beautiful, rustic barn, full of history and on the National Trust grounds. Many couples who get married here are planning relaxed, vintage style weddings and know how to throw a really good party!
I had the huge pleasure of photographing Neil and Zoe’s wedding at East Riddlesden Hall, Yorkshire. Neil and Zoe are pretty incredible people. This was evident in the number of guests that attended their wedding and the amount of love that they received. Their romantic ceremony took place in the barn, lit by fairy lights and lanterns due to a poorly timed down pour! However thankfully, as soon as the I do’s had been said, the sunshine returned. Neil and Zoe had sprinkled the stone floor in the ceremony room with dried lavender and the smell was wonderful.
The guests then spent some time in the beautiful gardens at the hall, drinking champagne and listening to some live music. The reception room was a floral heaven. They had huge, gorgeous flower centre pieces and candles flickering. The guests enjoyed a dinner of BBQ’d delights from salmon to steak, followed by heart warming speeches and more nudity than I was prepared for!
The whole day was incredibly relaxed and enjoyable. After dinner, we ventured out into the gardens for some photos in the beautiful evening light. This is always my favourite time to shoot and the weather did not disappoint. After the cake had been cut, the couple and their loved ones danced the night away.
Thank you Neil and Zoe for allowing me to be a part of your day – it was so much fun!
