In July of this year, I photographed the wedding of Mark and Fiona at Birdsgrove House in Staffordshire. It was my first time at this venue and I was really impressed! There was a ton of space, both inside and outside for the guests to roam and it was just beautiful. When Mark, Fiona and I chatted before the wedding, they talked about wanting a day that was totally relaxed and that natural photography was really important to them. It was clear both in our conversations before the wedding and their attitude towards their photography on the day that they both have a huge sense of fun….especially when they ended up on the trampoline for their couple shots! If I could use one word to describe their day, it would be emotion – whether that be tears down the aisle, pants wetting laughter during the speeches or the genuine feelings of love for the special couple.
The weather, in true british fashion was a dramatic mix of glorious sunshine and crazy downpours but it did not put a dampener on the day.
